@TheDiaryOfACEO It’s a shame that there was no discussion about military or defence exemptions for the use of ai. The European Union's Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) explicitly excludes military applications under Article 2(3). Although defence-specific systems are exempt, the principles embedded in the AI Act provide a normative benchmark that can inform military AI governance indirectly. Any thoughts on what the US, Russia or China’s exemptions are?
