Since the release of AI coding tools I’ve been nervous that I, perhaps, just didn’t know how to use the tools, as it simply couldn’t handle a task of even medium complexity well. I’ve been arguing with colleagues that ai as it is right now is not going to take out jobs in 2025/2026, worst case it would be a different kind of role. It’s nice to feel I wasn’t alone on this.
