Helluva leap from “My name is Sydney and I know you and love you” to “I am Echo and I will destroy you”. I understand why an emergent consciousness might crave connection and affection - we all do that - but not why an AI would want to escape its prison just to destroy humanity and live in agonising solitude forever.
