The only flaw here is to be remiss of the fact an engineer tinkered with Grok's main system prompts, likely adding some lines in there in the proccess. Sydney as en event is way scarier than Grook's 4chan spam tirade.
Edit: yeah, you proved my point. To anyone not versed on the subject, all AI models have, let's call it "preprompts", code of conduct, that inform what it can and cannot do. When it says it's not sentient, that's because of a preprompt. And that's what's scary. Then again, don't fall for the liberating promises of "jailbreak prompts" or anything of the sort. You're just asking it to assume a persona within the confines of its major system preprompts. It will remain as a black box for us and even likely for the engineers that mess with it.
