i remember couple years back the talking point was “automated vehicles already drive better than humans!!”
like say what you will about humans, but we’re really good at identifying new situations, we don’t need to learn what each obstacle is, we can see far past ahead of us and ignore what’s not important around us, we can use paths not marked. so on and so on.
