They shouldn't be using "facial recognition" at all, other than for high profile crimes like murder, kidnapping, etc. otherwise it seems like this technology is teetering on the brink of invasion of privacy. Even when they do use this technology they need to still cross reference data and do a proper and thorough investigation. Arresting and taking someone into custody against their will without any viable 99 percent verifiable evidence that you committed a crime is kidnapping.
