Not to mention students to dont use AI that get false-flagged by turnitin etc for supposedly using AI. I have luckily not had this happen to myself (yet at least), but i have friends who have, and the experience is pretty scary because it can be a guilty until proven innocent type of thing.
One of them hadnt even had the assignment read yet by the marker until two weeks later, who then dropped the charges because they realised the assignment was indeed human-written. That person was at risk of failing the course because the assignment counted towards a high % of the grade, and thus they were really anxious for those two weeks.
