Humanity is greedy and stupid. The benefits of AI aren't worth the risks in any way. The only real benefit I've heard is that it will help medical research. Other than that, every other 'benefit' is just to make people richer. The best case scenario is 30% unemployment. The worst case scenario is an AI takeover. Why are we jumping into this?
