Even if artistry isn't a talent, it IS a skill that (as you rightfully pointed out) takes countless hours to hone to even begin to convey what you want to, whether it's done through writing or drawing or painting or music. As a writer I recognize that not everyone is gifted with the time or energy to spend on such pursuits (or the money to pay someone to do it for them), and they shouldn't be voiceless just because they need to use someone else's work to express themselves. No one using AI should try to pass it off as their own art (it's not copyrightable in any case), but ditching it entirely would rob many people of an incredibly valuable (though not entirely authentic) method of self-expression.
