To add a newer development to the mix that most are probably gonna love to hear: AI has started to poison itself. AI scapers have started scraping AI generated images in numbers that are big enough to have started poisoning the AIs that generate them.
A world with only AI Art will be a world without Art after just a few years. But let's keep poisoning our Art to make it unusable for training so it's hard for them to try and retrain the clankers.
