1 - the threat is humans... it is always humans. anthropomorphizing AI is not what is happening... we simply SEE the HUMAN BEHIND the product.
the matrix is a better example than terminator. AI is becoming so ingrained into our "reality" that it will become an invisible hand... THAT is the terror. the black box controlling things for who knows who, with who knows agenda ( definitely capitalist agendas for their own power, but also .. what else? genocide of who? destruction of what?)
