I know I’m late to this, like a month late for this video, but as for the reference image, I 100% agree, I once had an idea that “hey maybe I should just take from some AI ‘artists’ image to make my own character” I found a few, the most memorable being this night type character with flowy hair and a faun type deer character with autumn type leaf clothing, but as I tried to take from that it got more nonsensical, the night character had these markings on their chest that were impossible to discern, one moment they looked like blobs that might be foxes? The next it looked like fire or some type of thing. As for the faun it looked like the leaves where just blobs on the color, the lines made no sense as they verged and overall it wasn’t well made(as most ai is), so I could barely get past making the heads before I either gave up or used actual reference for what I was trying to make, so I guess the general idea I’d ai sucks and never use it for references.
