Unfortunately, nothing is going to stop AI music. It will disenfranchise many musicians, composers, and performers in some areas. The one solution to help mitigate this is to promote more and more live music. We need to make music more visual and socially interactive in a public setting. As the old saying goes, we need to take it to the streets. Put real people out there in more places.
Granted, some of this is easier said than done but I think people want to see more proactive music involvement. Perhaps AI-generated music has its place but it can’t replace live…not yet anyway! 😂
