Code is the easy part means you are not a c++ developer. We've got 40 years of bugs and new versions stacked horizontally. I can code like its 1999 today if I want, or use modern idiomatic language and every single step in between. Import a few libraries, get your macros redefined or macro wars between includes. Yeah, LLMs would run out of context window just trying to fix basic bugs. LLM's are ok if you get them to do boilerplate or basic classes but they can only handle a certain quantities of the included classes before they forget what you are doing. Idiot savant is the best description.
