AI won’t come soon enough for my personal health management but the potential is there to diagnose and treat chronic health issues.
Physicians have more tools to assess patients but lag behind in their ability to discern individual patient narratives and ferret out relevant narratives. AI could very much address a confluence of physiological and circumstantial information. The gaslighting trend reflects an outmoded practice of medicine where physicians worry about errors and culpability more than the wellbeing of the patient. AI represents a new frontier with this. Healthcare could be a very different experience.
