Hi, Alex, I do hope you happen to see this comment. I have not been with you for a long time. I just found your channel minutes ago. I congratulated you for realizing that being the perfect academic Asian was ruining your life. Now I want to encourage you to find and live your passion. Sorry for the cliche. This is not a new thought, but it is an important one. For this reason: Even if you somehow make yourself indispensable in the career market, unless what you love doing magically aligns with what companies love producing, you will only succeed in manufacturing yourself to fit market demand. That's no fun. That's no better than being a physics major so that others will think you're smart. But if there is a productive activity that you really enjoy so that the hours pass while you're working, and the satisfaction follows the work you have done, then do that. We have known for a very long time that AI would be coming for everyone's job. Writers, lawyers, secretaries, transcribers. So far, only the surgeons are safe. Right now. So take the talent and brainpower that you inherited from your highly motivated Asian parents and find your niche of "this-feels-good." Jimmy O. Yang parodies his father in an hilarious routine about his father's advice to do what you hate, get rich, then spend your money doing what you love. Powerfully funny, but don't listen. The years between birth and the grave are all you've got. Enjoy them!
