10:37 AI language models. Whether or not essays should be a main part of learning (I'm unsure), I think writing longer texts only with AI will most probably be exposed. AI has a unique style, and hiding it would likely take more effort than writing it yourself. Even if people don’t notice, AI use can be detected by software or even other AI models built for that purpose.
However, AI can help with technical aspects like grammar, formatting, and creating tables and lists. I don’t see this as cheating. It not only frees up creative people to focus on their ideas but also helps those who may struggle. Using AI like this allows writers to polish and improve their work, focusing on what’s important—expressing their thoughts—without worrying about typos that could distract from their message or affect their grade.
