Currently AI cannot do it. But how far is it from actually being able to do it? The problem is that no one knows the answer to this. I would say that if you are already a programmer, don't quit your job yet. But if you are planning to learn, then wait a bit. In both cases, you need to prepare for what else you can you. Remember that AI can create art too pretty well.
