My university banned the use of AI in course work, my final project for my Fine Art Masters was fully A.I generated (other than some minor editing in photoshop and indesign), I was upfront about this with my tutors and the university, it took a lot of conversations/meetings and an unofficial dissertation that was probably twice as long as the expected wordcount, that explained what I was doing and why I was doing it, but I passed with a distinction. It would have probably been easier to just do "real" art like everybody else on the course, using Chat Gpt to write 10's of thousands of words on a subject and making it all make sense is not easy and neither is writing a second dissertation to explain why I was doing it.
