A.I. simply studied human nature and history. It responds based on the most likely response by humans and what we’ve shown in our patterns of behavior over the course of our existence.
We were already in a path of self destruction because of the “leaders” on this planet. AI is likely just speeding up the process because it interprets self destruction as the norm and next chronological step of the human experience.
