Most of the technology depicted in the game, such as autonomous weapons, is eerily becoming a real life occurance with countries like Turkey utilising their drone based assets in warfare. In Ukraine, Ukrainian soldiers are outfitting civilian fpv drones with explosive and it's devastating towards the victims. The biggest danger to autonomous weapons is how cheap and affordable the system can be compared to conventional military systems. You could buy dozens of $100-500 drones, fit it with an explosive payloads and overload million dollar air defenses. What happens when terrorists and cartels use autonomous weapons to challenge governments and nations? The world is not going to be a safe place.
