Autonomous cars can be a valuable add-on to public transit and traffic, bringing people to either their out-of-public-reach destination or the next public transit station or node.
And let's be honest, car parking lots can consume a good deal of space in any environment, be it a Westamerican-style urban area or a European city with narrow streets.
