This dude doesn't know much about biology. For a virus, the concepts of infectious and lethal are opposite. If you kill too quickly, you won't be able to maintain your population. If you kill too slowly, you'll either be consumed by the immune system (surprise, organisms are active) or integrate into the host's genome. Next, there's energy efficiency. Our bodies strive for perfection in terms of energy consumption, constantly adapting processes to consume less energy. Our cells utilize quantum principles for their operation. We are protected from decay and even increase our numbers. There is not even a chasm between us and neural networks, there is an abyss. This guy may be smart in neural networks, but he is a terrible dystopian.
