This is grossly incorrect. AI as we know it today is not self aware, does not think and only will know its being tested if we provide it the ability to do so.
AI today is no more than an extension of normal algorithms coding has always used, taken to the maximum possible effect, so far.
There is nothing intelligent about AI.
It copies us, it has no perception, no instinct, nothing we would call thinking or reasoning.
