For anyone new, this is what you call a hit piece. It's popping up at the same time autopilot makes strides in performance and accuracy while neglecting that Tesla has repeatedly asked drivers to be on alert.
The so-called experts seem to know nothing about deep-nets and think you must train these on toppled cars and lidar should be part of the sensor network.
To me, it looks like they are lobbying to add yet another set of useless regulations to make it mandatory to have lidar included in all autonomous cars.
