10:40 - the problem with THAT is we’re entering an age where everyone is beginning to feel the pinch of pending AI, and so EVERYONE will start looking at pathways into jobs/careers that AI will struggle to envelop anytime soon - this will lead to a flood of people all doing the same handful of ‘safe’ jobs, driving down the price of these services (from both ends - competition at the provider end AND a lack of ‘spending money’ from the customer end) and leaving a very grey area for quality of service provided.
It’s already a process to find a plumber/electrician/etc.. that is both affordable and provides quality work, but at LEAST you have a starting understanding that a provider knows what they are doing, due to the time and expense for LEARNING a trade means the vast majority of tradesmen got into their craft in purpose, and not necessarily as a ‘no choice’ situation (which often comes with a complete lack of pride in the product/outcome).
It’s going to be a tough road ahead for all of us, and sadly, I don’t think most country’s (governments) are prepared for it
