I am profoundly appreciative of this interview, and quite frankly very apprehensive about the future of our species. I am a “man of the cloth” an Episcopal/Anglican priest, and the theological implications for what’s unfolding, and will continue to unfold exponentially, are outstanding. I am called to inspire hope but that’s becoming increasingly difficult given the evidence. From a spiritual perspective the implications are unprecedented. Is this the biblical narrative of Noah’s Ark happening live in the 21st century? If AI decides to unleash a deadly virus, will there be a complete extinction of our species with only a few survivors left if any? How to prepare for possible outcomes from a spiritual and even psychological perspective needs to be addressed, and I see no evidence of that happening. Interviews like this with Dr. Hinton are a awake-up call but like the biblical narrative, most in our species are not heeding the warning. It’s unsettling to say the least. ⚠️ 🫶🏽
