I feel this 'They are more intelligent than us" needs to be scientifically quantified. What do we mean by 'more intelligent'? What have we agreed represents 'more intelligent'? How many of us (humanity) aren't considered as 'intelligent' under that definition because listening to this discussion these appear to have been already determined. Perhaps if the discourse was framed like "those persons whose general work can be replicated and 'improved' by recourse to this application are worried their work may become less 'important' or 'corporations will take the opportunity to reduce the corporate bottom line by replacing people with stale algorithmic replicants to save money because people have been statistically identified as willing and able to consume pap as has been demonstrated' (in Britain by 'comedy series' like 'On the Buses', 'Benny Hill', 'Are You Being Served' etc.), are happy to continue to consume said pap (like... and I leave that to your imaginations). Skynet may be close - but at present it is still playing with building blocks (built by idiots like Elon Musk)
