Yeah, devs need to adapt along with AI or be left behind. Depends on the salary, my company had a huge layoffs and those who found jobs (at the senior/staff level) found them quickly and most of them got increases in salary. I do see wages getting more depressed for new/junior/mid folks, but once they hit the senior threshold, my anectdata implies that the salary will catch up since the demand is way greater. At least for the next few years.
