I definitely don’t agree with AI artist attacking or saying real artist should be replaced but I’m honesty not onboard with what you are doing either. I find it to be the same type of toxicity thrown back at them. For one while I understand your point of AI artist taking data from art pieces…I wouldn’t consider it stealing. It’s stealing if they straight up take your art piece, slap their name on it, and say it’s there’s. Just using your style as a reference to make their own stuff…it’s basically how an artist would reference art from another artist they inspire. That’s how I see it at least. Except the process is faster. But don’t get me wrong I’m here saying at Ai is better or whatnot. There are times where Ai just doesn’t look good but that also goes into my other point. Because of that very nature there is no way that Ai art will complete replace traditional artists. In my mind, it still as a long way to go and companies will still need talented artists like you. For example, I see A lot of projects using Ai assets but also hire actually artist to polish it up. Or some people use Ai art for references. And for people who are using certain styles and selling it, it really shouldn’t affect you. Unless they are going around taking your name and saying that your work is theirs it should have absolutely no effect on you. If you are looks good people will buy it or respect it. Overall, this is what I think. This AI art hate needs to stop. Instead the two sides just need to find a way to compromise. I see AI as a tool that can used to help make art better in certain areas not to completely replace the way it is. Also to be aware, some “AI Artists” are not even people who gave up on art. They are people who are working on projects who turn to Ai because paying for an artist nowadays is very expensive. Not saying artists should lower their price but that is just how it is. One way or another, people have to start somewhere to start and get their projects out there.
