Thank you for making this concise and clearly articulated video. I find AI fascinating, but it also does present a threat to creatives worldwide. The vitriol aimed at you, specifically, for expressing concern about having your intellectual property stolen is a shocking indictment of how entitled so-called fans can be. That someone could admire your art enough to want to steal it but have contempt for you for wanting to protect what you've created is stunning. I haven't checked to see if putting my name in yields any kind facsimiles of my work. I somewhat doubt it, not because my work is so unique but because I don't think I have that kind of impact out there. But you're right, it's up to professionals to speak up. I've been doing this professionally for decades and it's only times like this that being as niche as I am seems like a benefit more than a bug.
