As a Senior animator let me tell you something, Ai is impressive but I don't see it EVER taking over animators jobs, here's why... In Animation you get client notes and reviews, and lots of iterations to get get it looking like what they want. sometimes the feedback for changes are so small nit picky but make a big difference when done. Unless Ai can make those little subtle changes that clients make, like the real nit-picky notes, then we are screwed, but I don't think that will happen any time soon. I have played quite a bit with the text to video generations, it's left me more disappointed than scared.
