i was seeing some people i admire, and even my own sibling, sharing their AI generated art (of themselves for curiosity purposes only, luckily), and it was just so heartbreaking to learn that. ofc i shared my thoughts along with many others, but it still sucks so bad that a lot of people aren't aware of the complete lack of morality to this business (which definitely should not even be a business in the first place. those stories i read about people use AI to make/sell children's storybooks gets my blood absolutely boiling).
but thank you for sharing all of your info! that email about the "contest" had me about to get my knives out. i also truly hope that our future with AI is not as bleak as it seems
