As an A.I. scientist I support you and the art community.
As today, the learning process behind these algorithms is not even close to what human mind does, making them mere tools capable of sticking together (in a complex way) images without even understanding what they are doing.
Not necessarily a bad thing, IF there is consent from the authors of the datasets. Which is not the case.
