What the advent of AI should do is allow people to live their lives how they want. Pursue arts or less stressful jobs since they don’t have to work as hard since AI is doing the heavy lifting. But hey, universal income is communism to the MAGA so the ones who own the AI will get wealthy and other people, poor. There is much beauty that can happen here though humanity is too self centered to see it.
