These AI programs injecting themselves into “art” isn’t even the only case in which it’s bad.
For example, I saw an ad for some ai program where someone is at a social gathering of some kind and pulls out her phone to ask it for conversation starters, and while I understand social anxiety can make communication and interjecting into conversations difficult (i know from personal experience), it’s just a crutch. It doesn’t solve the actual problem at hand, and while I’m not sure what the solution to it is, it sure as hell isn’t an app that’s relying solely on investors who think it might be cool in the future.
