While it doesn't make it any better or right, these A.I. biases and prejudices are accurate reflections of society's biases and prejudices. That's why there are stereotypes in most people's minds. That's why racism and sexism exists. And all this continues to perpetuate itself because if you were to make a movie, and you wanted to put a character in it that was to represent a CEO or a scientist, a mature white male would be automatically be accepted as "normal" and require no explanation... unless you were purposely trying to challenge common audience perceptions and prejudices.
