I imagine this man is very intelligent and understands AI better than 99% of everyone on the internet. But the problem with specialists is that they have a limited window of all the things that human beings are capable of in the world. I work in construction, previously as a millwright but now as an engineer. I have a hard enough time convincing guys to use modern technology like Procore or Robotic Total stations. You will have a very hard time getting construction companies to use AI or humanoid robots. We still don’t have self driving excavators, telehandlers, or carry decks. I just have a hard time believing AI can do what we do and even if it could we wouldn’t let it do what we do.
