Ai art...it is what it is, its always gonna be of alot less value because its cheap, we dont just value what is in over abundance. But I doubt its going away as long as we have access to the tech, and I doubt the demand for human created is art is going away either - though its undoubtably going to be reduced. In this case Artists are not special -in that AI is going to impact just about everyone who works for a living in the coming years. As for the sabotaging, For me personally it depends on motive, if an artist just wants to just protect their work from souless AI regurgatation IMO, thats both fair and well within their right to do so, but for the purpose of gaining poltical clout or to 'bring down skynet' or whatever, whether effective or not, that is ultimatley a childish and bitter endevor. In the end you will always be far more admired, respected and remembered well for what you created and not what you destroyed - or tried to gate keep in some tribal internet pissing contest. I guess what Im saying is, the anger on both sides of the fence here, is pointless and will change nothing.
