AI is already being used in modern mainstream releases. The new Bruno Mars, the new Chevelle. AI can’t write a hit song. AI is complex and dances all around but never makes a hit song. The problem is, the magic that writes those hits isn’t the people on stage. They don’t pay that magic, so the magic goes away from time to time. I doubt I’ll ever record again. I can sing, I can write down lyrics. But I don’t have the innocent feeling towards music because they, like Rick Rubin are users who took the place of real working people. They’re not doing anything to make the money that they make. Hence they’re users. It’s a different person, mostly, with a few other people in there.
