Yes, the term "Real Artists" has gotten murky the last few years. Taping a banana to a canvas or pushing a pile of plastic basins over while your cronies stand by, clapping hands and swooning over the sheer backstory, courage and genius of your latest artistic revelation to the world does not add credibility to what the art world has degraded into.
AI has its place, and in another 10 years it might be a decent tool in the "artist toolset". I don't have a problem if the pieces generated by AI stays in the public domain. All it does is to force you to constantly innovate and not sit on your ar*e letting the royalties feed you ad infinitum.
And just like a hug, a kiss, a little bit of your time, a little bit of respect, the best things in life are free.
