AI learns to look for patterns in images and tags them with text- Like an artist studying a piece by Van Gogh, for example, only on a much bigger scale. Let's say that this artist draws a new piece inspired by those works he learned, and posts it online. It won't be taken down, right? That's because copyright law permits taking inspiration from other artists. Why shouldn't we treat AI the same?
