Interesting to see the conservative point of view on this. I still haven't seen an explanation as to why an AI being "inspired by" a collection of art is different from a human being inspired by the same art. I thought it's been well established in the creative community that you can copy ideas but not the content. How exactly is this different? All I heard was something about human emotions feeding into the process for human artists, ignoring the fact that there are human-generated prompts that are driving the AI work.
