PE always, Always, ALWAYS reduces the workforce. AI is their "wettest dream," to quote a line from the movie.
Yes, there will be some "Humans in the Loop," in the corporate space, but the lower level players are done-and-dusted, and don't even know it yet.
I do agree that there will be "specialist" operators who can work for multiple companies, managing their AI agents and optimizing the workflow--at least for a time, til the AI obsoletes them as well.
But the future is truly entrepreneurial, as sole operators offer goods and services consumer-direct. Some will have this skill and some will not, so now is the time to train-up.
