Just because they move to AI, it doesn't mean it gets rid of jobs. It means those workers need to change to a field that manages, and maintains those AI.
The way I have seen it pointed out many times and the way it is. We used to dig holes with our hands, then we got some tools and some people digging had to make those tools, then came the metal tools like the shovel and picks, and the same deal people had to leave the digging to make those. Then came the mechanized told like tractors, again less people digging in those mines but the people moved to the other jobs like maintenance and so on.
Technology is going to come, people need to learn to move along with it just as the people of the past did.
