The AI debate was always a lie. The people behind it have always touted “ it will replace the jobs that people don’t want to do “ but that’s not the case . It will replace the jobs bosses and shareholders don’t want to pay a human for . Also we have to accept not everyone leaves high school with good grades or even looks at college . We have people in roles that they depend on that is all they can get . The janitors and warehouse workers are honourable people and their roles are not jobs they don’t want - they are jobs they and their families need . If we automate everything we will have tens of millions of people each day landing in u employment with zero chance of another basic job . It’s all a con just to make shareholders and financial backed companies more profit and del with humans and their human rights in a workplace
