most jobs are bullshit and provide no value, the economy is bullshit.
the 9 to 5 was engineered specifically to waste people's time and energy.
even if they automated everything, they'd still find a way to waste people's time or get rid of them.
anyway, i don't derive purpose from my job, in fact it gets in the way of things that actually are fullfiling, i wish i just had more time and didn't have to think about money at all.
