Doesn't it seem more productive to build a powerful state apparatus to govern the direction of AI technology rather than try to reduce AI/Robotics reduction of current jobs? This should be a democratically controlled process, not left to the tech titans to suck up even more power. It's good to reduce jobs if we spread the wealth generated by these new technologies and allow for greater collective human freedom.
