So we are beginning to develop empathy for artificial lifeforms that are just simulating emotions based on antropocentric training data and that are by default not able to experience pain? And on the other hand we lack the same empathy for humans with a different skin color or sex or believe? Or for animals that suffer like we do from the pain we inflict on them for rather trivial purposes? Who cares for the exploited data annotators who paid for this AI madness with severe mental illness? Indeed, humanity has made much progress in devising new ways to get lost in distraction.
