Children and parents do t attack eachother if there is congruence . If feelings are well attached which is a RATIONAL response to safety.
Is there an element of also needing not just to use punishment to control AI but to also create a human geopolitical landscape that demonstrates that we ourselves adhere to rules based order. That we are RATIONAL and not partisan or biased .
Maybe testing and using rudimentary AI in a lopsided decimation of a people across the globe isn’t a great foundation for demonstrating even handed rational .
